同志们: 去年12月在北京召开的全国卫生工作会议,是建国以来第一次由党中央、国务院主持召开的卫生工作会议。这次会议明确了新时期卫生工作的奋斗目标、方针任务和卫生改革与发展的指导思想,是我国卫生事业发展史上的一个里程碑,对促进卫生改革与发展,具有十分重要的意义。今天,省委、省政府召开全省卫生工作会议,就是要研究如何结合我省实际全面贯彻落实全国卫生工作会议精神,加快我省卫生事业的发展。为此,省委、省政府将作出关于贯彻全国卫生工作会议精神的决定。下面,我简要地谈三点意见。 一、全党全社会都要高度重视卫生事业 健康是人类生存与发展的基本条件,是社会进步的重要标志。卫生事业的发展水平,直接关系到人
Comrades: The National Health Work Conference held in Beijing in December last year was the first health conference held by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The meeting clearly defined the goals, principles and tasks of the health work in the new period, and the guiding ideology of health reform and development.
