1949年4月,我参加了中国人民解放军,1950年12月部队改编为摩托化炮兵团,开赴吉林四平市,1951年12月编人中国人民志愿军坦克三师炮兵团,开赴朝鲜,参加抗美援朝战争。当时,我是炮兵团直属指挥连通讯排总机班有线总机话务员。我们团先驻守在朝鲜西海岸,后奉命调往朝鲜东海岸金刚山508高地,这里已经越过“三八线”。我们通讯排总机室就设在高地的一个山头上,这里荒无人烟,周围几十里不见村
