Since China announced the simplified scheme of Chinese characters in 1956, simplified Chinese characters have gradually replaced the traditional Chinese characters and accepted by the general public. However, there has been another trend of using traditional Chinese characters in recent years. In response to this phenomenon, the author twice in 1990 and 1995 on the main streets of Beijing city sample survey, supplemented by questionnaires and interviews. Through the statistics and analysis of all the materials, it is found that the emergence of traditional Chinese characters is closely related to the structure of Chinese characters and the aesthetic psychology of Han nationality, except for the close relationship between the use of written characters and the age, educational level and professional nature of written users. Our initial conclusion is that, in addition to the need to step up publicity and education, the norms of the use of words should not be taken into consideration of the objective social needs and the laws of the structure of Chinese characters in the design or recognition of simplified Chinese characters. When the masses use Chinese characters, Formed by the psychological state.
