我校学生大多数身处农村,农村的家长绝大多数都不会说英语。平时学生所听、所想、所说的都是汉语。英语口语的提高,在一定程度上立足于多听。在农村初中里,由于学校教学资源的不足,学校根本没有语音室,学生接触英语的机会并不多。在学生离开课堂后,很少有机会练习说英语,无法将所学知识应用于实际交流;另外,在课堂上仍有许多学生不愿意开口说话。担心自己会说错,会遭人耻笑。这些不说的学生始终处于被动地位。长此以往,学生往往会羞于开口;久而久之,对学习英语失去了兴趣。基于这些原因,作者将结合学校实际与自身教学实践,谈一些观点。
Most of our students live in rural areas, the vast majority of rural parents can not speak English. Usually students listen to what they think, what they say is Chinese. The improvement of spoken English is to some extent based on listening. In rural junior high school, due to the lack of school teaching resources, the school does not have a speech room at all, and there are not many opportunities for students to have access to English. After students leave the classroom, they seldom have the opportunity to practice speaking English and can not apply what they have learned in practice. In addition, there are still many students in the classroom who are not willing to speak. Worried about their own mistakes, will be ridiculed. These unspeakable students are always in a passive position. Over time, students tend to be ashamed to speak; as time passes, they lose interest in learning English. For these reasons, the author will combine some of the actual schools and their own teaching practice to talk about some ideas.
