昆虫生长调节因子(IGRs)是有高度抗蚊和抗其它昆虫作用的若干种化合物,有延缓或抑制昆虫生长的特性,包括保幼素(及其类似物)和几丁质生成抑制剂两大类。前者如Pyriproxyfen,LC_(90)的有效浓度小于1ppb,作用比一些有机磷杀虫剂还强。后者如Di-flubenzuron,Hexafluron和Triflumuron,可抑制几丁质合成和沉淀,有效浓度范围为2—10ppb。IGRs的作用效力随其品种和试验昆虫的种类而有差异。水质和其它环境因素也会影响其效力。
Insect growth regulators (IGRs) are a number of compounds that are highly resistant to mosquitoes and other insects and have the property of retarding or inhibiting the growth of insects, including two of the key components of juvenile (and analogs) and chitin production inhibitors class. The former, such as Pyriproxyfen, LC_ (90) the effective concentration of less than 1ppb, the role than some organophosphate insecticide is also stronger. The latter, such as Di-flubenzuron, Hexafluron and Triflumuron, inhibit the synthesis and precipitation of chitin at an effective concentration ranging from 2 to 10 ppb. The effectiveness of IGRs varies with the species and the species of insects tested. Water quality and other environmental factors can also affect their effectiveness.
