当今社会日益开放化,在国家与世界经济接轨的同时,人们对于语言交流的重视程度也越来越高。英语作为世界各国交流的载体,也受到更多的重视。高职院校作为培养社会所需人才的重要机构,就要加强对英语教学的重视,培养学生在日后工作中灵活应用英语的能力。本文通过分析目前高职院校中公共英语教学的问题以及教学现状同用人单位需求的差距,提出了以行业应用为目标导向,并给予对公共英语教学进行改革的建议。
Today’s society is becoming more and more liberalized. At the same time that the country is in line with the world economy, people attach more importance to language exchange. As a carrier of communication between countries in the world, English has also received more attention. As an important institution that cultivates talents needed by the society, higher vocational colleges should pay more attention to English teaching and cultivate students’ ability to use English flexibly in their future work. By analyzing the current problems of public English teaching in higher vocational colleges and the gap between the present situation of teaching and the demand of employing units, this paper puts forward the suggestions of using industry as the goal and reforming the public English teaching.
