亲爱的书授班的学员们,青年朋友们:你们好! 值此刊授班第一学期结束之际,我作为《电影艺术概论》的教员,想与你们谈谈心,并借此机会向我未能一一复信的学员们致以歉意。五千人的“电影大学”,这不仅在中国历史上,在世界历史上恐怕也是罕有的奇闻。十年动乱,使你们的青春年华在动乱中虚度,你们为夺回失去的宝贵韶光,渴求到知识的海洋里练就一身本领,为振兴中华,为祖国早日建成四个现代化贡献力量。共同的目标使我们走到一起来了。据我所知,办这个班是很不容易的。贵州省委、省文化出版厅、省电影公司的领导和同志们,作了大量的工作,排除了许多障碍。没有他们的热心支持,没有他们的远见卓识,没有他们的胆略魄力,电影知识刊授班的这棵幼芽,就难以破土而出,更难以在风风雨雨中茁壮成长。“班”就是我们共同的家,是青年电影爱好者之家,
