1949年10月1日,中华人民共和国成立。当天登上天安门城楼参加开国大典的新中国领导人和各方面代表共622人。其中,党派代表142人,包括中国共产党、中国国民党革命委员会、中国民主同盟代表各16人;中国民主建国会、无党派民主人士、中国民主促进会、中国农工民主党、中国人民救国会、三民主义同志联合会、中国国民党民主促进会、中国致公党、九三学社、台湾民主自治同盟、新民主主义青年团代表各12人、10人、8人至5人不等。
October 1, 1949, the People’s Republic of China was established. On the same day, a total of 622 new China leaders and representatives from various fields attended the founding ceremony of the Tiananmen Square watch tower. Among them, there are 142 party representatives, including 16 members of the CPC, the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang and representatives of the China Democracy Coalition; the China Democratic National Construction Association, non-party democrats, China Democratic Progressive Party, China Peasants and Workers Democratic Party, China People’s National Salvation Association, The gay federation, the Chinese Kuomintang Democratic Progressive Association, the Chinese Guodong Party, the Jiu San Society, the Taiwan Democratic Autonomous League and the New Democratic Youth League each have 12 representatives, 10 representatives, and 8 to 5 representatives.
