In real life, it is not difficult for us to find that students clearly remember the “Code for Secondary School Students” and “Standards for Daily Behavior of Middle School Students”. They are thoroughly familiar with “Four Things” and “Five Loves,” but they are not disciplined, quarrelling, or fighting. It is not uncommon to care for public property and not to be polite. What does this show? This shows that in moral education, it is difficult to create and develop good moral qualities by simply returning to the back of a few rules and regulations. It is not enough to rely on “teaching” alone. What’s more important is that “ethics” means moral cultivation. This is the root of moral education.
