1996年晋江市科协充分重视科普工作,据不完全统计,麸举办培训班168期,培训18356人次。在市委组织部、市教委等部门的配合支持下,晋江市96年农函大招生734名。4月份,内坑镇长埔村成立了农函大辅导站.并开办“文秘”、“财会”、“电脑”等专业班和文化补习班,又举办。婚前知识教育“、”普法知识教育“等讲座,参加学习和听课的人员达300多人次。1996年普江农函大被评为泉州市农函大先进集体,许猛义、陈芳玖、辞典元三位同志被评为农函大先进工作者;郑美造等六人被评为优秀学员。
