南阳市宛城区陈棚村是古代墓葬较集中区域之一(图一)。南阳市文物考古研究所和原南阳市考古队近几年配合基本建设时,在该区域发掘一大批战国至明清时期的墓葬。2002年1-2月,南阳市文物考古研究 Chencun Village, Wancheng District, Nanyang City, is one of the more concentrated ancient tombs (Figure 1).
