18世纪末19世纪初的英国小说界充斥着大量的感伤小说,简·奥斯丁清新的写作风格打破了感伤小说充斥的局面。她善于塑造人物形象,抓住生活中的细节,用善意的讽刺为我们展现了资产阶级社会人们闲散、安逸的生活状态以及他们的爱情观和婚姻观。本文抓住简·奥斯丁作品中细节描写的特点,进行比较分析,归纳总结出小说中的表现手法,从而帮助文学爱好者及英语学习者更深入地了解简·奥斯丁和她的作品。
In the late 18th century and the early 19th century, the British fiction circles were filled with a great deal of sentimental novels. Jane Austen’s fresh writing style broke the sentiment-filled novels. She is good at shaping the image of characters, seizing the details of life, and using goodwill irony to show us the idle and comfortable life style of people in bourgeois society, as well as their view of love and marriage. This article seizes the features of Jane Austen’s work in detail description, compares and summarizes the expression techniques in the novel to help literary amateurs and English learners understand Jane Austen and her works in depth .
