30多年前,我国档案工作者赴苏联接收了中共驻共产国际代表团的档案。30多年后的今天,在中央档案馆珍藏的这部分档案中,发现了孙中山1922年8月27日和12月20日致苏俄副外长越飞的两封信。这两封信在《人民日报》和《人民政协报》上刊登后,在社会上引起了一定的反响,也引起了正在写宋庆龄传的爱泼斯坦的极大兴趣。在全国政协七届四次会议闭幕前夕,爱泼斯坦愉快地接受了本刊记者的采访。一见到记者,爱泼斯坦便拿起这两封信的英文本复印件高兴地说:“这两封信在国内首次发现,对于了解孙中山联俄思想的形成提供了重要的原始文献,对于我写宋庆龄传也有很高的史料价值!”
More than 30 years ago, our archivists went to the Soviet Union to receive the archives of the CCP’s delegation to the Communist International. More than 30 years later, two letters from Sun Yat-sen to Yue Fei, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, were found on August 27, 1922 and December 20, 1922, in the archives that the Central Archives collected. After these two letters were published in People’s Daily and People’s Political Consultative Conference, they aroused a certain response in society and caused great interest in Epstein, who is now writing the biography of Soong Ching Ling. In the eve of the Fourth Session of the Seventh CPPCC National Committee, Epstein happily accepted the correspondents interview. Upon seeing the reporter, Epstein picked up the English copies of the two letters and said happily: "These two letters were first discovered in China and provided an important source for understanding the formation of Sun Yat- I write Soong Ching Ling also has a very high historical value!
