在这篇访谈中,克莱夫·哈伯教授讲述了教育除了对个人和社会的增益作用和对社会关系的再生产功能外,还有被忽视的第三种效果:学校教育对社会和个人造成伤害.这种损害产生的原因一方面在于正规学校教育的部分目的是为控制,而不是学生的解放,另一方面在于过度的竞争性.解决的方法是民主和学生的参与.
