刚结束不久的上海世博会不但成功演绎了“城市让生活更美好”的主题,而且揭示了美好生活与城市发展的交互关系,正如本届世博会主题英文所传达的另一层涵义。因此,汇集国内外精英的杭州—上海世博会“和谐城市与宜居生活”主题论坛,把如何解决日益严重的城市交通问题作为聚焦城市的话题之一,它不但反映了生活美好和谐对于城市建设的重要意义,更反映了当下,特别是发展中国家城市化实践中的重要诉求及面临的当务之急。
