Objective To explore whether alcohol is good or not by drinking from the perspective of serum high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and to analyze the effect of different alcohol on HDL-C. Methods The questionnaire combined with blood lipids test method, 5274 cases of the results were analyzed. Results The serum HDL-C levels were 1.34mmol / L and 1.43mmol / L respectively, with a significant difference (P <0.0005). The average HDL-C levels of drinking and non-drinking beer were 1.35mmol / L , 1.40mmol / L respectively, the difference was significant (P <0.0005). The average HDL-C levels of 1.35mmol / L and 1.38mmol / L for drinking and non-drinking red wine were not significantly different (P> 0.05). The average HDL-C levels of single drinking white wine, beer and red wine were 1.34mmol / L, 1.37mmol / L and 1.45mmol / L, respectively, P values were <0.0005, <0.05,> 0.05, respectively. P <0.05 compared with white wine compared with beer, P <0.0005 for white wine compared with red wine, P <0.005 compared with red wine. Conclusion If you do not have a drinking habit, it is not advisable to establish this habit, especially for women; whereas men who do not drink may be advised to drink less. If drinking habits, drinking red wine than drinking beer, white wine to raise HDL-C level is more beneficial; non-drinking red wine habit, drinking white wine and beer on HDL-C levels are roughly the same, drinking beer may be better.
