拉什迪喜欢童话这种叙述方式,从不同方面阐释他的艺术和政治主张。《羞耻》既是一部政治小说,更是现代寓言。拉什迪借用“美女与野兽”这一经典童话,进行重新构建。本文尝试从女性主义童话学的角度对小说进行分析,解读拉什迪的创作目的与动机,从而得出结论:其作品从后现代女性主义视角,颠覆了欧美传统文化中的父权制。
Rushdie likes the narrative style of fairy tales and expounds his artistic and political opinions from different aspects. “Shame” is not only a political novel, but also a modern allegory. Rushdie borrow “beauty and the beast ” the classic fairy tale, to be rebuilt. This article attempts to analyze the novel from the perspective of feminist fairy tales and explain Rushdie ’s purpose and motivation to conclude that his works subvert the patriarchy in the traditional European and American cultures from the perspective of postmodern feminism.
