In November 2015, the design and construction of the National Art Museum of Singapore for more than ten years was finally completed and opened up. The museum’s architecture is astonishing, taking advantage of the two adjacent British colonial classic buildings, the City Hall and the Supreme Court, serving as two wings of the gallery, with a wing that leans to the classical and a wing to the modern. The designer added a huge ceiling between the two houses as the entrance to the gallery. As far as the architecture itself is concerned, this is undoubtedly one of the finest art galleries in Southeast Asia.
