自从汉武帝接受董仲舒的“罢黜百家,独尊儒术”建议以来,由孔子创立、被列为“九流十家”之首的儒学,愈益成为定于一尊的显学。在其后漫长的二千多年里,儒家思想始终统治着社会上层建筑尤其是意识形态领域,对广大民众的思想、心理直至日常生活,都产生了极其重要的作用,至于对历代士人精神品格、人生经历以及文化生活的影响之巨,更是有目共睹。以蒲松龄的《聊斋志异》来说,它集中反映了蒲松龄及其同时代广大士人的共同心声,在其背后又可以清楚看到儒家思想的主导地位。 Since Emperor Han Wudi accepted Tung Chung-shu’s proposal of “striking down one hundred and honoring Confucianism alone,” Confucianism founded by Confucius and ranked first in the “nine streams and ten tenses” has increasingly become a significant study. To Pu Songling’s “Strange Tales of Liaozhai Studio”, it reflects the common aspiration of Pu Songling and his contemporaries, and can clearly see the dominance of Confucianism behind it.
