Dangerous embankment detection is the crux of flood control projects. The combination of electromagnetic tomography (CT) detection and geologic drilling to detect embankment hazards is a new attempt in Guangdong Province to test the application of the flood embankment in Liuxi River. It is proved that this method is an effective measure for embankment detection and shows that Prospect of Exploring, Popularizing and Applying Engineering Hidden Problems in Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering
