After ten years of silence, Philips Electronics announced a few days ago that it will once again enter the highly competitive PC manufacturing industry. The Dutch electronics giant gushed back to PC manufacturing in the early 1990s due to a loss, but recently teamed up with British retailer Dixons to quietly launch six PC products. The partnership with Dixons has found a retailer for Philips’ Streamium line of networking products. fly
