以去卵巢及采用长期应用肾上腺皮质激素分别建立了两种肾虚的模型，检验了中药复方制剂仙珍骨宝对此两种“肾虚”大白鼠骨质疏松症的防治作用。研究表明，仙珍骨宝对去卵巢所致的“肾虚”大白鼠骨质疏松症有较好的防治作用，可使骨吸收明显减少，骨形成增加，动态观察证明本品尚可使成骨细胞活性增加，骨基质钙化加速，有明显改善骨质疏松的作用。对类固醇所致的肾虚大白鼠的骨质疏松，本品亦有使骨吸收减少，骨形成增加及骨量增加的作用，研究结果还证明，仙珍骨宝对类固醇所致的大鼠肾上腺萎缩现象有较强的对抗作用，与激素合用可预防后者所致的肾上腺皮质萎缩等作用。
Two types of kidney deficiency models were established by de-esophagy and long-term use of adrenocorticotropic hormone. The prevention and treatment of Xianzhenggu, a traditional Chinese medicine compound preparation, on the osteoporosis of two kinds of “kidney deficiency” rats was examined. Studies have shown that Xianzhengubao has good preventive and therapeutic effects on osteoporosis in “kidney deficiency” rats caused by ovariectomy and can significantly reduce bone resorption and increase bone formation. Dynamic observations have shown that this product can still make bone formation. The increase of cell activity, accelerated calcification of bone matrix, and significant improvement of osteoporosis. In the case of osteoporosis in steroid-induced kidney deficiency rats, this product also has the effect of reducing bone resorption, bone formation, and bone mass increase. The results also prove that Xian Zhen Gubao’s adrenal gland atrophy caused by steroids in rats. Phenomenon has a strong antagonistic effect, combined with hormones can prevent the role of the adrenal cortex atrophy caused by the latter.
