本文介绍了日本１９９２年新修订的生活饮用水水质标准和环境水质标准。前者除包括根据《水工程法》制订的４６项指标外又增添了１３项与舒适有关的项目和２６项监视项目；后者仅限于与人体有关的指标，并增加了２５项监视项目，同时采用年平均值来评价环境水质质量。本文还提出了日本水质标准今后所面临的任务
This article describes Japan’s newly revised 1992 drinking water quality standards and environmental water quality standards. The former added 13 comfort-related projects and 26 surveillance projects in addition to the 46 indicators developed under the Water Works Act; the latter was limited to human-related indicators and added 25 surveillance projects, meanwhile Use annual average to evaluate environmental water quality. The paper also proposes the tasks to be met by Japan’s water quality standards in the future
