同种植物集中成片栽培,固然有利于适地适作和提高经济效益和劳动生产率。但它彻底改变了植物自然群落多种类多层次混合生长的生态结构。单就光能利用而言:由于植株高低相似,早期土地覆盖率低,群体受光面少,光照要求一致,无法充分利用群体不同层次的光照;光合效能远远低于自然植物群落,严重影响产量提高。因此,如何在专业化生产的前提下,进行仿生栽培——合理间作、套作、混作,创造较好的人工生态系统,正是值得我们重视和探讨的战略问题。

The photosynthetic efficiency is far lower than the natural plant community and seriously affects the yield improve. Therefore, how to conduct bionic cultivation under the precondition of specialized production? It is a strategic issue worthy of our attention and discussion that how to rationalize intercropping, intercropping and mixture and create a better artificial ecosystem.
