高等艺术设计教育作为人类审美文化创造活动,是在社会对于艺术设计教育的需要日益增长的情况下发展壮大的。尤其是进入新世纪以来科学技术突飞猛进,知识经济已见端倪,艺术设计产业在不断崛起,这种技术与艺术高度综合的审美史化形态急切地呼唤着高等艺术设计教育必须要加大其创造性的力度,并通过创造活动来完善自身学科。因此,衡量一个艺术设计人才合格素质的主要标准不仅是拥有多少技能知识和审美经验,而且应强调其美术创造能力,审美创新意识这就需要对现有的以维持性为特征的艺术没计教
