云南省镇雄县位于云贵高原乌蒙山北麓、赤水河源头,当年红军长征曾两度经过这里,留下许多传奇故事。近年来,镇雄县人武部坚持以科学发展观为指导,瞄准打赢信息化战争目标谋发展、求创新,全面建设跃上了一个新台阶。先后被云南省军区、昭通军分区表彰为“全面建设先进人武部”、“先进人武部党委”、“人武部规范化建设达标单位”。
