现代工笔重彩画是在传统中国工笔重彩画根基上演化而成的,是具有现代造型观念和现代审美倾向的,色彩在现代工笔画中已经成为重要的绘画元素,色彩语言的创造性运用符合画家艺术个性的表达,通过传统渲染与现代技法的有机结合,营造出工笔画创作中的色彩之美,从而进一步表达出作者的内心情感与对生活的感受。因此,色彩作为当代重要的绘画语言,既要与传统绘画风格相结合,也要大胆地进行创新,体现出绘画与时代相结合的艺术特色。
