潜孔钻机钻架起落一般都采用钢绳、齿条或液压缸。当钻架举升到钻孔角度需要定位时,无论是用撑架固定还是拉板固定,都需要人工辅助。钻架重新落下时也是如此。例如KQ—150潜孔钻机,钻架用钢绳起落机构,用撑架固定钻架并使其定位。每当钻架举升完毕或重新落下,都要人工爬上钻机插取销轴。KQ—200潜孔钻机,钻架用齿条起落机构,靠拉板与机架联接来使钻架固定和定位,也要工人爬到钻机底部工作。这些钻架定位方式的特点是机构简单,但是钻架起落极不方便,定位麻烦(难以对准销轴孔),工人劳动强度大,而且不安全,同时,在钻机允许的钻孔角度范围内,钻架无法任意定位。
