在大学英语四、六级考试中,写作与其他几项相比是薄弱环节,学生的写作成绩始终处于低谷,仅在6分左右(十五分为满分)。 面对这种现象,人们不禁要问:是作文题目太难,使得学生无从下笔?还是评卷太严,把学生的作文评得一无是处?都不是。历年来的作文题所涉及的范围,如读书、运动、电视、环境绿化等,都是学生日常学习生活所接触到的。评分标准也很科学,很合理。阅卷教师从内容和语言两个方面对作文进行综合评判,采用的是总体评分方法,而不是按语言点的错误扣分。评分有五个等级。自1988年四、六级统考开始实行以来,至今已举行了十几次,通过率也在连年上
