英语是一门语言类课程,英语教学不能只站在象牙塔的高度,一定要讲求语言的实用性,教师需要利用有效资源进行语言教学,为学生提供贴近生活的教学资源,创建浓郁的语言文化环境。为了丰富教学资源,开阔学生视野,教师可将英语报刊的阅读纳入英语教学当中。利用英语报刊阅读学习英语不仅可以丰富课堂教学内容,拓宽学生学习英语的渠道,而且还有利于帮助学生将英语学习运用到实际的生活中,学会活学活用,激发学习英语的积极性。主要对英语报刊阅读的优势,以及如何引导学生阅读英语报刊进行了简要探讨,以期能够更好地将报刊引入实际教学中,更好地帮助学生学好英语。 English is a language course. English teaching can not only stand at the height of the ivory tower, but must emphasize the practicality of language. Teachers need to use effective resources for language teaching, provide students with teaching resources close to life, and create rich language and culture surroundings. In order to enrich teaching resources and broaden students’ horizons, teachers can incorporate the reading of English newspapers and magazines into English teaching. Using English newspapers and magazines to read and learn English can not only enrich the content of classroom teaching and broaden the channels for students to learn English, but also help students to apply English learning to real life, learn how to use it and stimulate the enthusiasm of learning English. Mainly on English newspaper reading advantages, and how to guide students to read English newspapers were briefly discussed in order to be able to better the newspaper into the actual teaching, to better help students learn English well.
