教材分析:保護树木这个专题是我们英语初中阶段一个最常用而且很重要的专题,无论是阅读,听力,口头,还是写作都会涉及。学生在Unit Four Save the trees Reading里学习了很多关于描述树木重要性的句型和短语,由于BookB Listening PartB的内容与Reading联系更紧密,故选此节并修改作为听说材料。本节课通过Listening、speaking等活动,让学生巩固描述树木重要性的句型和短语,并激发学生如何爱惜树木的意识,培养学生绿色生活的态度,同时号召身边的人共同参与。
学情分析:本班学生英语成绩位于区平均线以下,但对英语学习有一定的热情;对本话题较为熟悉,对基本的句型也掌握得不错。但是在具体的听说运用时会有一定困难,尤其是关于“如何保护树木”的英文表达很欠缺。
教学目标:
知识与能力目标:
1、学生能够运用Unit4Reading单词及词组:cool and clean, harmful gases, produce oxygen, major fighters against air pollution…
2.学生掌握听力技能:根据细节预测答案,
3.学生学会运用表示先后顺序的连词,first(ly),second(ly),and then, next,finally,
4. 学生能就Save the trees的话题提供信息,表达简单观点及写作。
过程与方法目标:任务、引导,活动、归纳,小组合作
情感态度与价值观目标:激发学生如何爱惜树木的意识,培养学生绿色生活的态度。
教学重难点:掌握树木重要性及如何保护树木的基本句子:
1. Plant more trees and cut down less trees.
2. Take good care of the trees.
3. Encourage other people to protect trees.
4. Use both sides of paper.
5. Don’t climb the trees.
6. Don’t pollute the earth.
7. Don’t use disposable chopsticks并利用以上句子用于简短说话。
教学用具:课本、学案、电脑、投影、海报。
教学过程:
1.Play the video about saving the trees and ask two questions;2.Give students some pictures to guess words;3.Show sentences and invite students to read.
Students’ activities
1. Watch the video and answer questions;2.Get the chance to speak out the missing words;3. Read the sentences together.
Purpose:Revise words and phrases in Reading& More practice
Listening(10’)
Teacher’s activities
1. Lead students to make a prediction before listening;2.Listen to the tape twice;3.Ask students to correct the answers .

Task 1. Speak out the guessed words in the box.
Task 2.Listen and write down the answers
Purpose:Learn some skills of listening

Task 2 1. Show some pictures &key words;2.Make a summary;3.Guide Ss to do pair work;4.Ask Ss to show their posters and report;5.Present two sentences about trees

Raise the posters to the audience and call on the audiences to save the trees together.
