When the power was out of power, I was in a 10-page report. The office suddenly became dark; the computer stopped working after a loud cry, and the words on the screen dimmed as if to ridicule me and disappear into darkness. I complain that I still have clients. If I had to stay in my mother’s old, unpowered house called Olivetti, I would have been able to get the job done by candlelight and go home.
