大家知道,人们很早以前就已经研究出圆的周长与直径的比是一个常数π.无论是数学家们利用分析的方法得出关于π的各种结论(如欧拉发现了美妙简洁的等式1+1/2~2+1/3~2+1/4~2+…=π~2/6,e~(iπ)+1=0),先后证明了π是无理数、超越数,还是借助电子计算机把π算到小数点后上百亿位,已经远远超出了实际需要.然而,人们还在继续研究:更为精确的π值是多少?π的小数位的随机分布是什么?我常想,是什么力量支撑人类孜孜不倦地研究π呢?是数学的精神!数学的精神就是独立思维,追求真理.
