目前,大家都认为,对于实际使用的每一类机床,采用液压方式控制进给运动是最理想的。然而利用液压马达获得主传动的旋转运动却没有引起足够的重视。其原因在于采用普通的分级齿轮传动已经能满足大多数机床的要求;不过,对大量生产来说,有必要扩大其速度范围,不断增加切削速度。这样,设计人员就应该对液压旋转传动的优点给以更多的考虑。液压传动,除了可以得到广泛的速度范围这一特点之外,另外一个优点就是无级变速。
