刘涌(1914—1972)江西省兴国县人,出身贫寒,父母早亡,从小过继给了别人。刘涌只知道自己的出生年月,不知道自己的出生日和时辰,一生中从来没有过过生日。刘涌1930年参加中国工农红军,参加了长征。抗日战争时期,参加了我党接管青岛工作,任青岛接管委员会委员、青岛警备区司令部副司令员。中华人民共和国成立后,任中国人民解放军第32军军长,华东军区装甲兵司令员,济南军区装甲兵司令员,济南军区副司令员,1955年被授予少将军衔。
Liu Yong (1914-1972) Xingguo County, Jiangxi Province, was born in a poor family. His parents died early and passed from childhood to others. Liu Yong only know his own birth, do not know his birthday and hour, never had a birthday in his life. Liu Yong joined the Chinese Workers ’and Peasants’ Red Army in 1930 and took part in the Long March. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, I participated in our party to take over the work of Qingdao, Ren Qingdao takeover committee, Qingdao garrison command deputy commander. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, he was commander of the 32nd Army of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, commander of armored forces of the East China Military Region, commander of armored forces of Jinan Military Region and deputy commander of the Jinan Military Region. In 1955, he was awarded a major general’s rank.
