本科生在两年的英语学习中已经进一步掌握了基本的语法知识,并且阅读理解能力迅速提高,绝大多数学生能按要求通过国家四级或六级考试。但对非英语专业的本科生来说,仅有这些知识是不够的。各个不同的专业还有基本学科的特点和专业英语词汇。如果本专业的学生不了解这些专业英语词汇,将对他们的研究生阶段的学习和今后的专业发展有非常不利的影响。因此,本科阶段的专业英语教学是非常必要的。那么现阶段本科生专业英语的教学状况如何呢?
Undergraduates have further mastered basic grammar knowledge in their two years of English language learning and their reading comprehension is rapidly increasing. Most students can pass the national CET or CET 6 examination as required. But for non-English majors, this knowledge alone is not enough. Each of the different majors also has the characteristics of basic subjects and professional English vocabulary. If these students do not understand these professional English vocabulary, their post-graduate study and future professional development will have a very adverse impact. Therefore, undergraduate professional English teaching is very necessary. So undergraduate professional English teaching at this stage how?
