With the rapid expansion of trade between China and Japan and the excellent momentum of economic and trade relations between the two countries, we ushered in the 20th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic ties between China and Japan. During this time of celebration, we reviewed the development of Sino-Japanese trade. The course has made me feel mixed and filled with emotion. After 40 years of ups and downs, China-Japan economic and trade relations have finally embarked on a path of healthy development. In 1991, Sino-Japanese trade exceeded the US$20 billion mark and worked together on both sides. Next, we are moving toward a positive balance and steadily expanding.
