Shengjing Hospital affiliated to China Medical University is a large modern comprehensive hospital integrating medical education and research. The hospital was formerly the first western hospital in Northeast China built by the British Scottish Church in Shenyang in 1883. It was Shengjing Shi Hospital; in 1948, it was China Medical University.
