He left no last words and did not even leave behind the remains and graves, so an influential poet in Russian poetry disappeared mysteriously. But 60 years later, the poet quietly and sensibly returned. His name and his poetry began to appear continuously and prominently in literary newspapers and magazines of their motherland. The Soviet literary community reevaluated him and set off a notorious “Gumilyov hot.”
