阿基米德锥蜗杆传动的切齿干涉最易出现在锥蜗杆小端齿顶。把分度锥面参考点选在与锥蜗杆小端齿顶对应部位,可以通过控制中心距系数,避免切齿干涉。文中给出无根切最大中心距系数表。以表中数值为上限选择中心距系数,可不进行根切校核和避免返工,使设计工作简化。计算结果表明,导致锥蜗轮齿面根切的原因,是锥蜗杆齿面上存在啮合界线,而不像其他蜗杆传动那样,是由于蜗轮齿面上存在曲率干涉界线。
