四、要在满足职工群众物质文化生活需要上下功夫,因势利导取得社会效益和经济效益双丰收不断满足人民群众日益增长的物质文化生活需要,是社会主义经济建设的根本目的,也是社会主义经济发展的一项基本规律。这个根本目的、基本规律,长期以来被人们限于经济建设领域,现在看来,这种视线过于狭小了。因为,这个规律同样可以在思想政治工作领域里产生影响和作用。思想政治工作要探索新形势下的规律,我以为,重要的是要尊重并遵循不断满足人民群众日益增长的物质文化生活需要这个基本规律。至少应当在满足群众文化生活需求上下功夫,提高全体社会成员的文明素质。作为旷世盛典的国庆50周年庆典活动,既是盛世点强兵,扬我赫赫军威,也展示了我们的经济实力、国防实力和民族凝聚力,是建国50年特别是改革开放20年来辉煌业迹的检阅,也是人民群众精神状态与精神
