我从来不为别人写书评。理由很简单:像厉以宁这样的恩师,他身边有许多得意门生,用不着舍近求远去进一步阐发他的思想;今天中国的社会环境条件下,有些书不敢叫人恭维。陈永昌教授要我为他的这部新著写书评,我却无法推辞。理由更简单:他是我的同仁、学弟,我们都是后改行进行经济?
I never write book reviews for others. The reason is simple: Like a mentor such as Li Yining, there are many proud students around him, needless to go far to further elucidate his thinking; some of today’s social conditions in China are not flattering. Professor Chen Yongchang asked me to write a book review for his new book, but I can not refuse it.
