1905年的抵制美货运动是中国近代史上一次大规模的反帝爱国运动。安徽地区参与抵制美货运动有诸多因素,如经济、近代工业的发展、教育、国家主权意识和民族意识的出现等。在此运动中安庆、芜湖最为突出,纷纷进行集议拒约。安徽地区的抵制美货运动促进了安徽经济的发展和近代民族工业的发展,同时也给美国在安徽的贸易以沉重的打击。
The boycott of the American movement in 1905 was a large-scale anti-imperialist and patriotic movement in modern Chinese history. There are many factors involved in the boycott of the American movement in Anhui Province, such as economy, the development of modern industry, education, the awareness of national sovereignty and the emergence of national consciousness. In this movement, Anqing, Wuhu, the most prominent, have set a meeting rejected. The boycott of the U.S.-made goods movement in Anhui Province promoted the economic development of Anhui and the development of modern national industry, and at the same time gave a heavy blow to the U.S. trade in Anhui.
