随着体育赛事在世界各地的普遍开展和推广,体育竞赛表演业在全世界范围内得到快速发展。对于每年举办100多场重大体育赛事的上海而言,体育竞赛表演业有着巨大的培育和发展空间。但由于上海的体育竞赛表演业尚处于发端阶段,因此在体制、机制、产业联动、场馆资源等方面与国外知名体育城市之间存在很大的差距,在一定程度上成为制约上海体育竞赛表演业的瓶颈问题。
