新视野,是设计艺术家追寻的目标。如果创意是主菜,科技就是缺一不可的配菜。过去数十年,科技发展日新月异,人类不断面对着变迁的时间、空间、物质所带来的挑战。究竟设计师怎样回应这股“科技潮”?在MoMA的“Design and Elastic Mind”展览中,为数二百多件从超微细的纳米比例,到广阔无垠的宇宙性比例所衍生的实物装置及创新概念的展品中,反映出设计家对现代科技转变的具体回应。
New horizons, designed by the artist to pursue the goal. If creativity is the main course, science and technology are indispensable side dishes. Over the past few decades, with the rapid development of science and technology, mankind has constantly faced the challenges brought by the time, space and material changes. How do designers respond to this “wave of technology”? In MoMA’s “Design and Elastic Mind” exhibition, over 200 pieces are derived from the ultra-fine nano-scale to the vast universe of cosmic proportions In-kind installations and innovative exhibits, reflecting the designer’s specific response to the shift in modern technology.
