《新编大学英语》是适应大学英语教学改革的产物。与旧教材相比,在许多方面都有创新,尤其是注重培养和提高学生的综合能力。但在教学实践中还存在用老一套教法讲授新教材的问题,达不到预期效果。因此,迫切需要在教学实践中探索体现和适应该教材特点和优点的新的教学方法,为我国的外语教学开辟一条切实可行的新路。 “New college English” is the product of college English teaching reform. Compared with the old teaching materials, there are many aspects of innovation, especially focusing on training and improving students’ comprehensive ability. However, in the practice of teaching, there is still the problem of teaching new textbooks with the old teaching method, failing to achieve the expected results. Therefore, there is an urgent need to explore new teaching methods that reflect and adapt to the characteristics and advantages of the textbook in teaching practice, so as to open up a new and feasible road for our foreign language teaching.
