具体艺术作品中,都包括内容和形式两个部分,二者是辩证统一的,不可将其分离开。同理,由音乐的内容与形式所构成的音乐美也是两者构成的。作为象征内容的美与作为象征的音自然地而且密切地融合在一起,这就是音乐。也就是说,在音乐中,美的内在象征得到了完全体现。音的单纯感觉美,本来是为了使真正音乐美的体验成为可能的素材的美。音乐的本质性的美是用这种素材构成的新产生的综合形式的美。
