地球上的植物,从低等到高等,虽种类繁多,但每种植物都有自己发生演化的悠久历史和发源地。茶(Camellia Sinensis O、Ktze),这个被子植物已广泛地被人类作为重要的饮料作物栽培,从亚州到非州,从欧州到南美,几乎遍布全球的亚热带和热带地区,但它的祖先发源地问题在世界上却争论了一个多世纪。近年来我国及日本学者对这个问题发表了许多考察资料和许多重要的论述。作者从古地理学、古气候学、古生物学诸方面也对茶树发源地问题进行一些探讨,由于作者孤陋寡闻,偏见和错误是难免的,但愿提出一些粗浅见识。
There are a great variety of plants on Earth, from low to high, but each has its own long history and place of origin. Tea (Camellia Sinensis O, Ktze), an angiosperm that has been widely cultivated by humans as an important beverage crop, from Asia to Africa, from Europe to South America, almost all over the world’s subtropics and tropics, but its ancestral origins The problem has been debated in the world for more than a century. In recent years, scholars from China and Japan have published many survey materials and many important expositions on this issue. The author also makes some discussions on the origins of tea tree from the aspects of palaeogeography, paleoclimate and paleontology. Since the author is ignorant, prejudices and errors are unavoidable, he hopes to provide some superficial knowledge.
