各区、县人民政府,市政府各委、办、局,各市属机构:市林业局《关于加强本市“十五”期间年森林采伐限额管理工作的意见》已经市政府同意,现转发给你们,请结合实际,认真贯彻执行。实行森林采伐限额管理是加强森林资源保护和管理的一项重要制度。严格执行森林采伐限额,不仅关系到林业工作的全局,而且关系到本市经济、社会的可持续发展。国务院批准的本市“十五”期间年森林采伐限额,是本市每年采伐消耗森林和林木的最大限量,务必严格执行,不得突破。各区、县人民政府和各有关部门要高度重视,认真履行职责,切实加强执行森林采伐限额的监督和管理,对超限额和超木材生产计划采伐森林和林木的,依法严肃处理。
