《装饰》杂志是我第一位课外学习的“老师”.自我从事美术学习,工作至今已与其维系了20年的密切关系,并对其产生深厚的感情.在它身上我得到了可望的理论指导,开拓了艺术视野,陶冶了艺术情感.每每读阅杂志都觉得自己似乎“长”高了点.自认识《装饰》杂志,它就成了我亲爱的朋友.记得在《装饰》杂志中,我第一位认识的师长并给我深刻印象的常沙娜教授.那是在1982年我在鲁迅美术学院上学期间,当上传统图案课时,老师拿出常沙娜教授在敦煌临的藻井图案(北魏二八五窟)(隋代四○七窟)
